Bio: I am a dedicated mother of two inspiring sons who motivate me each day to pursue my education and personal development for a better future. As a driven and inquisitive student, I am deeply committed to overcoming any challenges that arise on my path toward achieving my educational goals, and I will continue to face future obstacles with the same perseverance. Since 2021, I have been working on my Associate’s Degree at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), initially attending part-time. In Spring of 2023, I embraced the challenge of becoming a full-time student at Forsyth Tech and now I am set to graduate in May of 2025 with a Programming Degree. I’ve been building computers since I was 8 years old, where I first learned about them at my mother’s job. I am skilled in C#, Java, Swift, Python, SQL, and Kotlin, and I am a passionate Cybersecurity Enthusiast. I have had the privilege of leading several teams in Cyber Competitions, further honing my expertise in this vital field. In addition to my studies, I serve as the president of the ITP Club, am a member of the National Technical Honors Society, and a Pi Theta Kappa member. I was also a volunteer Firefighter and a licensed EMT for five years, starting at the age of 18, which allowed me to serve my community in a deeply rewarding way. Currently, I am working with a team of 46 attorneys across four states to re-write human trafficking statutes, allowing survivors to apply for expungement and start fresh. My ultimate goal is to create a business dedicated to tracking and stopping human trafficking globally. I aim to raise awareness about the various forms of human trafficking, ensuring that all communities—large and small—recognize its realities. My vision includes developing advanced systems to monitor and track trafficking activities across all corners of the internet and devices. I also plan to operate a large safe house for survivors, offering therapeutic services like EMDR, and classes aimed at helping them heal from addiction, trauma, and other related experiences, guiding them toward reclaiming their lives.
